Sectorforce funded the research and development of Helping Communities Work. The enterprise is designed to support the growth and sustainability of our nonprofit partners through an original cash management strategy, which focuses on social purpose real estate. http://www.helpingcommunitieswork.org
We advance "Reciprocal Entrepreneurship", a function of asset-based community and economic development. The plan integrates business and social entrepreneurship through a cash allocation innovation designed to cultivate a fertile landscape for small business growth, place-based impact investing and foreign direct investment. The process also broadens the socioeconomic scope, impact and value proposition of CRA programs.
Reciprocal Entrepreneurship breaks down the silos that challenge the alignment of business and nonprofit growth and corporate citizenship by facilitating collaborations among diverse stakeholders who may not ordinarily communicate yet often share interrelated social, economic and environmental goals and objectives.
Focus areas include: work-based learning, human capital and workforce development, nonprofit growth and sustainability, small business lending, place-based impact investing and social purpose real estate, which includes a technology-assisted affordable housing initiative.
